Forensic Twin

An interdisciplinary project between the Creative XR Lab of the SHSU Art Department and a forensic lab of the SHSU Criminal Justice Department, headed by Jonathon Bryson and Jorn Yu. The project aims to recreate forensic blood test in a virtual environment using Unreal Engine's Niagara system to create dynamic fluid simulations in a 1.1 scale matching real life. Research was done using a mix of resources procured online and in-person test.Responsibilities included creating numerous iterations of the blood drop to reflect traditional results, creating and optimizing models, rigs, and animations and integrating user and developer functions such as keyboard & controller input.

SHSU Animation
A group project made of ~20 artist and animators led by Prof Willie Williams created a mock advertisement for the Art Department in the College of Arts and Media that would guide the school's mascot Sammy through the experience of being a part of the community. We grouped in teams of 3-4 members to work on various segments for each medium (physical, digital, photography, animation, etc.).Each group developed characters designs for assigned professors and Sammy, 1-2 group members made storyboards & backgrounds, and each group member animated their own scenes in the segment. At the end Willie gathered all the segments and composited them together. We were all encouraged to use our style, but still keeping with the overall character design of SammyMy roles were story-boarder, communicating between the groups to capture transitions, teachers designs, and beats, background artist, creating background art and layouts, and animator, animating my own short piece.

Untitled Game
The solo project currently being developed to further my understanding of game design, development with an emphasis on animation & programming using a basic 2D foundation. At its core is a isometric turn-based game, with the player controlling a slime who evolves with every encounter, using the oppositions weapons and abilities against them to dominate the many levels of the game.
